I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, but have lived in the US since I was 16 years old. Growing up I played many sports, from court/field sports like tennis, basketball, and soccer, to water sports like surfing and swimming, to martial arts like taekwondo and karate.
During college, I got into CrossFit and that opened up a new world of creating a healthy body for myself. After graduating, I knew that fitness, health, sports, longevity, and vitality were things that I valued more than anything else. That led eventually to a job as a Fitness Coach.
Not long after I started, I knew that I wanted to make a bigger impact on people's lives than just what we do in the gym, so I started to take courses and certifications related to mobility, injury prevention, and rehabilitation, nutrition, individualized programming, breathing, and healthy lifestyle habits. My goal is to educate people on the multitude of things that impact their health and what they can do about it to better and faster reach their goals.
Currently, I focus on taking my fitness outside the gym, specifically to my Judo practice. But you might see me at the pool, the beach, the tennis court, the basketball court, or riding my Harley around.
